So happy with everything from the second we arrived. Room was spacious and immaculately clean. Breakfast was varied and all cooked well. Dinner in the Grill was fabulous. The staff were super friendly without being intrusive. The location was perfect too. We had a short stroll to the RHS Gardens. Perfect.

All Staff were polite, approachable and very helpful. The public areas were superb, spacious and comfortable to sit in. The food was impeccable and plentiful. My room again was excellent. Well made bed, selection of good pillows. Cleanliness was excellent. The service tray was well stocked also. The safety chain on the bedroom door was also an added bonus. An electric fan was in my room which made the stay alot more comfortable during the hot weather. The gardens were beautifully manicured and an enjoyment to sit in. 1

Beautiful setting, the grounds and hotel itself are very nice. Location was also great, especially for Salford attractions. Breakfast was really great, as was food in the bar area. Easter Egg hunt was a nice touch. Pool was nice to have and never too crowded. Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would probably stay again if I need to be this side of Manchester.

I don’t think I’ve stopped anywhere as nice for years. It was so beautiful. The grounds are fantastic, the interior clean and well maintained, kind and polite staff. The pool and leisure area are spacious. It was just so so nice. The terrace is such a sun trap, really great when it’s a nice weekend like this one has been. It felt like we were on holiday abroad. We didn’t want to leave. Our room had two large double beds, the kids slept well and the wife and I were comfy in our too. I would really recommend this place to anyone and for four of us I thought £267 with breakfast was good value for money.

There’s much to praise but the one thing that really stands out , and this may not seem a biggy to most people, however the biggest plus was the major choice of gluten free food. Especially the breakfast range and the availability of gluten free sausages. As a frequent hotel user this is rare and much appreciated by my coeliac wife. Public areas also are varied with quiet places to sit, light and airy as well as pleasant outdoor spaces.

The English breakfast was above average for this type of hotel, with a good choice of quality ingredients. We liked the bacon which was good quality and cooked perfectly. Good value. Having parking available on site at no extra cost was a bonus, although the parking spaces were a little tight. The grounds were nicely landscaped and maintained. The information about the history of the place, and how the architects were able to skilfully blend the old with the new. Nice smelling toiletries from This Works. Stylish decor in the room.

The breakfast was good. The chef made me a freshly made omelette while we chatted, which was lovely. I've stayed at many hotels and never saw the chef 👨🍳 never mind talking to one while he made my breakfast. Awesome 😊 The staff was welcoming and helpful, answered all my questions and gave practical information. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. It has become our go- to- place when I go to Manchester again

The breakfast staff were excellent, very helpful and friendly. The breakfast offering was great. The location is superb, close to all the delights that Greater Manchester has to offer. The spa team were superb, and we would like to recognise Liz.

The spacious room. Nicely decorated. Big screen TV. Comfy bed. Well equipped with tea, coffee tray, iron with ironing board. Spacious bathroom with good quality shampoo/conditioner and shower gel/hand-wash. Fabulous swimming pool

Spa facilities were lovely the grandchildren loved the pool apart from on Monday morning people with memberships not appreciating the children in the pool playing. Golf course was an added bonus for my son-in-law
